    An organization that uses digital technology, advertisements, and music concerts to mobilize young people to vote and engage in the political process.

Declare Yourself. http://www.declareyourself.com
    A nonpartisan, nonprofit organization whose mission is to register young voters and increase political participation among 18–29 year olds. The organization has launched public service announcements, campus tours, and various events in partnership with celebrities and corporations.

Young Republicans National Federation. http://www.yrnf.com
    A 527 group that organizes grassroots political involvement and community service for 18–40 year old registered Republicans in order to develop future party leaders. The organization supports conservative issues and Republican candidates in national and local elections.

Young Democrats of America. http://www.yda.org
    A 527 group that seeks to engage and train young people to become lifelong Democratic voters and leaders. The organization is comprised of state and local chapters that dispatch their members to advocate progressive issues and to campaign for Democratic candidates on all levels of government.

Project Vote Smart. http://www.votesmart.org
    A nonpartisan research organization that provides voters with balanced and objective information on candidates and public officials. Its Web site provides information on candidates and political figures including campaign finance records, ratings by interest groups, positions on issues, voting record, and public statements.

Annenberg Political Fact Check. http://www.factcheck.org/
    Established in 1994, the Annenberg Political Fact Check is an independent, nonprofit group that researches the accuracy of statements made by political figures in speeches, debates, news articles, interviews, and advertisements and exposes distorted, misleading, and false claims on its Web site.

Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE). http://www.civicyouth.org
    CIRCLE studies and surveys civic participation and education, with a particular emphasis on youth political involvement. The CIRCLE Web site features research on young people's voting demographics, political participation in educational communities and through digital technology, and voting patterns.
